ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.

My work captures the rich character and personality of life. I can best describe my style as light, bright, and fun. I look for the individual personality that makes my portraits unique. I paint using a combination of photographs and live models to capture the essence of my subject. I paint mainly with oil on canvas. Painting is my passion and my challenge, which I strive to communicate to the observer. Ir was raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, near Chadds Ford. She holds a B.F.A. in Painting from Kutztown University, PA. Additional coursework includes offset press graphics and CAD. She is an accomplished Archeological Illustrator with credentials from Temple University, the State of Delaware and the National Park Service in Utah. She has taught in public schools and colleges in and around North Carolina, the Hilton Head Art Academy, Bluffton Art Association and the Island Artist Association of Fernandina Beach, FL. she also teaches many workshops.
