ENDANGERED: Fine Art & Photography Contest 2018 Submission.

I create my art with the hope of inspiring people to take note of the beauty around them. I work primarily in acrylics on canvas, after having been a muralist for quite a few years. Canvas painting has afforded me the freedom to explore and create more independently.

I am inspired by my love of nature and aim to portray that on my canvas. Whether I am at home in Florida or traveling I find breathtaking scenery everywhere. I capture bits and pieces and meld them into a realistic scene for the viewer.

My paintings are meant to explore the beauty and magnificence of nature as well as to raise awareness of our need to protect the environment. My wish is that future generations will have the opportunity to be awed by the world around us.
